April 2 is going to be one of the few vocal jazz nights in this year’s Wednesday night jazz series. Vocalist Deanne Matley leads her quartet with Bruce Petherick on piano, Stefano Valdo on bass, John de Waal on drums and special guest Dorothy Bishop on cello in an evening of original arrangements of 21st century standards. Deanne is about to release her fourth cd, and the evening will include songs from all recordings.
