From the moderator (Jan Mulder):
The annual performance of the MRU jazz faculty has traditionally been the most popular event of the season. The jazz program at MRU has been the longest running post-secondary Jazz program in Calgary. But sadly, January 8 will mark the final Mount Royal Jazz Faculty Concert. Cut short by the Redford government and David Docherty’s presidency, Calgary will be without this fine program by April 2014. Please join us as the faculty gets together one last time to enjoy each others creativity and teamwork in an evening of original compositions and jazz-standard arrangements. I expect this event to be very well attended. As we do not take reservations, come early, if you want a seat.
