Development Committee

The goal of the Development Committee is to protect and enhance the quality of life and the character of the built environment in Cliff Bungalow-Mission by advocating for the Cliff Bungalow and Mission Area Redevelopment Plans during the review process for proposed development projects.

The Committee meets monthly to discuss development issues.

The job of the Development Committee Director is to form relationships with, and to negotiate between, community residents, developers, property owners and City planners.

For the 2010 year, the Development Committee is focusing on the following issues and projects:

• Implementing an short-term use for the abandoned construction sites
• Create a Community Message Board on 4th Street
• Reviewing the effectiveness of our ARPs
• Reviewing the effectiveness Zoning
